A list of words, letters and other shit professionals throw at you with a short description. FML they have a code for everything..

Neuro Diverse/Neurodivergent
E.H.C.P
- Educational Health Care Plan – this is your blue print for your childs needs. Its like getting blood from a stone.
SENCO
- Special Educational Needs Coordinator – A teacher who supposedly responsible for assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs and disabilities. You get great ones and then you get some no so great. I would not want this job.
P.D.A
- Pathological Demand Avoidance – Has to be one of the hardest things to get your head around if your ND person has been given this title. Once they have you look at things so differently and realise that all those fights over picking stuff off the floor etc was never a choice and suddenly picking up after them becomes less stressful (99% of the time).
E.P
- Educational Psychologist – You need one of these on your team to help create your E.H.C.P they put down in words what they believe your young person struggles with and what tools and skills you and they need to help level the playing field.
Working Document
- A fucking joke – but essential. This is a document you and the LA work on that pulls all of the information from everyone who has worked with you to help form a plan of action. This document is sent to the tribunals to show the judge what you have agreed or disagreed on.
